MAKE THE DAYS OF FASTING A FEASTING AFFAIR BY TRYING OUT EXOTIC MIXES OF VARIOUS FARALI INGREDIENTS



BANANA ALMOND LASSI-





Ingredients: 1 cup low fat yoghurt, ½ banana, 3-4 almonds, 1 tsp seeds(mix of flax seeds and sesame seeds), 1-2 tsp honey.

In a food processor, pour yoghurt, then add powdered flax seed, sesame seeds, almonds, bananas and honey. Blend it well till smooth and creamy. Transfer into a glass and garnish with chopped almonds before serving.


SABUDANA BHEL-



Ingredients: half cup sabudana/tapioca pearls, 1 medium sized potato, boiled and peeled, a pinch of red chilli powder, 1 tbsp peanuts, 1 tbsp cashews, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, ½ tsp chaat masala, 2 tsp oil, few drops of lemon juice.

Firstly soak the sabudana for some hours, drain them, and then heat oil in a pan. Add the sabudana and continue to stir. Stir and cook till the sabudana pearls become translucent, softened and completely cooked. Then mix the chopped boiled potatoes, roasted peanuts, roasted cashews, coriander leaves, lemon juice, rock salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala.
