THE RISE OF WORK / EAT FROM HOME:

Swiggy delivered 5 times as many orders to ‘Home’ addresses compared to ‘Work’ between Jan & March, which rose to 9 times in April and May.

WHAT DID INDIANS MISS THE MOST THIS 2020?

Swiggy delivered over 200,000 pani puri orders post-lockdown.

2020 put health on menu-

130% increase in healthy food orders on Swiggy HealthHub in Bangalore.

The year saw a 127% increase in orders for Supergrains based dishes, followed by Vegan (50%) high-protein dishes (49%) & keto-friendly items (46%).

Swiggy's Instamart delivered over 1.6 lakh meal kits and over 75,000 kgs onion 

Orders for masks, hand wash soaps & gels, and sanitisers kept flowing in.

A GENIE FOR EVERY WISH-

-Swiggy Genie received over 120,000 food-related tasks.

-Parents used it to collect textbooks, homework diaries & stationery from schools.

-Swiggy delivered 6,000 book kits to students from specific schools.

-Two customers from Bhopal and Bangalore, tipped their delivery partners Rs 5,000 each.

-Delivered over 6 lakh birthday cakes.
